Friedrich Kleinhapl ist ausdrucksstark und leidenschaftlich. Er begeistert weltweit Publikum wie Kritiker als Solist und Kammermusiker mit seinem expressiven Spiel. Er macht vieles neu, anders: von seiner Cellohaltung und seinen Interpretationen über seine spannende Art in den Konzerten von der Geschichte der Werke zu erzählen bis zur individuellen Gestaltung seiner Programme und Kunstprojekte. Daneben engagiert sich Friedrich Kleinhapl mit seinem Verein „Get a Hearing“ für Kinder mit Hörminderung.
